I have a question: where are you? I haven't seen you in a long time. I believe the last time I saw you was around Fall Break 06. And I do not remember hearing you talk much. But before that, it would have to be over a year since I really had a conversation with you! Long time, no see!

I'm not sure I fully agree with that. If you pursue God Himself, you will become who He has made you to be. It is so easy to fall into the trap of legalism and spend so much time worrying about who you are supposed to be you forget Who He is. Your job is to love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength. He's the Potter. He can take care of forming you for His purpose.
I agree. God is the point, not our identity. We make our identity the point and we miss it. We have no true identity apart from God. There will be more on this in a later post about where meaning comes from.
